Summary:

Meta is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to help drive the product partnership and deals for WhatsApp. The WhatsApp Product Partnerships team is responsible for managing a wide range of relationships to drive user growth and engagement on WhatsApp. This position requires high levels of creativity, strategic thinking, and troubleshooting as you will be on point to identify and drive some of our top initiatives while working cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Marketing and Legal teams.

Required Skills:

Business Development & Product Partnerships Manager, WhatsApp Responsibilities:

  1. Help set and drive partnerships strategy to support WhatsApp product roadmap

  2. Maintain direct and active relationships with partner companies, serving as an escalation point of various issues

  3. Develop complex relationships and drive deals to resolution through both internal and external communications

  4. Work cross-functionally to lead projects around long term product, policy, legal, marketing strategy around key initiatives

  5. Push forward partnerships and sign deals across a broad coverage area for WhatsApp

  6. Represent Meta in external meetings with executives, both internally and externally

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS Degree

  2. 8+ years of work experience in product/platform, partnership or technical experience in consumer technology and mobile focused companies

  3. 5+ years of partner facing experience

  4. 5+ years of experience with program management, project management, strategy, management consulting or similar

  5. Experience in the mobile industry, working with technology, internet, telecom or digital media companies

  6. Experience building relationships with peers and stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.

  7. Track record of operating independently and delivering results, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.

  8. Experience delivering executive communications and delivering presentations to a variety of stakeholders including leadership.

  1. MBA or Master's Degree preferred

  2. Experienced in negotiating complex deals

  3. Product sense and understanding of product and technical matters

  4. Collaboration and relationship-building skills – experience developing working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Meta

Public Compensation:

$159,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
