Job Description
We’re currently looking for an Associate Creative Director, Designer to join our CoLab Design Studio. We’re looking for a hands-on, self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills to oversee Designers and collaborate with the rest of the team. This person obsesses about the way the things look. You can manage a team, you can strategize, and you can be executional and thrive in a quick-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Concept and creation of strategic experiential elements for global, regional and local pitches and programs
Assist in building and implementing new approaches to design work
Act as a champion of brand standards and guidelines
Maintain the client graphic aesthetic and quality
Manage & execute multiple projects at once, efficiently meeting deadlines
Follow creative direction, work in a group dynamic, and actively participate on any given project or team to which assigned
Qualifications
A great candidate is a thought leader with an open mind, able to grasp the intricacies of a client’s business landscape as well as understanding our role and opportunity as an agency. You understand new platforms and the new landscape and know what it means to be make something interesting and engaging and creative in the world today.
8-10 years of Design experience. Evidence of strong digital/social work is essential.
A strong background in an agency environment and tight deadlines
4-year degree (fine or graphic arts degree a plus)
Portfolio that shows off excellent presentation work or layout design
Expert skills in PowerPoint
Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Cloud
Impeccable attention to detail
Strong conceptual ability, along with expert design and layout skill
Able to easily liaise with people outside the design team & create work based on a verbal or written brief
Self-starter and well-organized
Positive Attitude; receptive to creative direction and design feedback
Branding and logo design experience
Proficiency with video editing and/or animation is a plus
Have experience managing and nurturing junior talent, providing clear direction and constructive feedback while working closely with producers to schedule deadlines, and resolve resource and delivery issues
Have experience using and developing complex design brand guidelines and systems
Have abilities in motion design and comprehensive knowledge using the Adobe Creative Cloud Applications
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally. We’re looking for someone who is confident in the work they create and lead and knows how to speak intelligently not only about their own work but how it supports the other aspects of the agency teams.

Compensation Range: $98,500- $165,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
