The CRO Strategy and Operations team’s mission is to design and implement mechanisms and controls to enable the broad adoption and responsible usage of Model and AI Solutions. To achieve this mission, we collaborate with other functions across Bloomberg, including Legal and Compliance, CTO, Engineering, Data, Product, and CISO in facilitating the implementation of appropriate policies and frameworks, control processes and tools, and supporting training and awareness with monitoring and oversight to ensure ongoing effectiveness.

In our continued effort to unlock the potential of our data at scale while embracing the power of AI, we are seeking an AI and Model Risk Implementation Manager to support immediate delivery, while establishing automated processes and tools to allow for repeatable delivery at scale. With focus on coordinating disparate processes, this role will be critical in supporting our business users, engineers, and analysts to use, manage, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy of our data.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Define and manage AI delivery project requirements and schedules and identifying risks and dependencies

  • Collaborate across risk and control teams, including information security, engineering, legal, privacy, and compliance to define implementation risks, monitoring and oversight requirements, and gaps vis-a-vis existing capabilities and resources

  • Facilitate working group meetings, stakeholder communications, and senior management updates

  • Engage with Legal, Compliance, and others to stay abreast of industry, regulatory, and privacy expectations with assurance that existing processes satisfy emerging requirements

  • Support control and process owners to prioritize implementation of processes to support AI delivery and oversight

  • Monitor existing AI and Model activity, with focus on governance and oversight expectations

  • Manage key governance activities, including inventory management, approval Develop and deliver AI and Model governance and risk training to key stakeholders

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and control automation to support our ability to ensure responsible adoption and usage of AI and Model solutions

You’ll need to have:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in technology, data, or risk management, with at least 3 years in a project management capacity for cloud, model risk, and/or data analytics

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline

  • Hands-on experience with AI Solutions (e.g., ChatGPT, AWS Bedrock, et al), including understanding for developing and implementing preventative and monitoring controls

  • Demonstrated project management expertise, including fluency with MS Project or equivalent

  • Experience in professional services or strategic consulting

  • Experience with public cloud and software-as-a-service solutions

  • Diversified experience of technology, operations, privacy, regulatory compliance, and risk management

  • Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and trading lifecycle

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Hands-on cloud experience; certification a plus

  • Strong understanding of privacy requirements (i.e., GDPR, CCPA, et al)

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment

  • Agile and/or Project Management certification (SAFe, PMP)
