Description We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to become part of our team located in New York, New York. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the industry. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be primarily accountable for managing and processing customer credit applications, maintaining the accuracy of customer credit records, and addressing customer inquiries. Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions will also be an essential part of your role.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Ensure the maintenance of precise customer credit records

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions

• Execute bank reconciliations

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Operate bill.com for efficient accounting operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations, with the ability to manage, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and transparency

• Familiarity with bill.com, demonstrating a capability to handle digital transactions and online payments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the capacity to create and manage spreadsheets, perform complex calculations, and produce reports.
