Location: New York, NY – Hybrid

*Pay Range: $120,000 - $160,000 USD annually

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior VFX Producer will oversee and manage the VFX, finishing and design projects assigned to them by the Head of Production for Method NY. This involves the management of the elements, schedules, budgets, workflow, client relationships & internal personnel. This role will be client’ and internal teams’ main point of contact.

MAIN DUTIES:

The Senior VFX Producer will be working alongside leads and creative supervisors to track and manage projects, while ensuring a strong line of communication between clients, internal teams, and support departments. They will be responsible for managing, planning, and leading projects, as well as formulating highly detailed and accurate budgets. They must be able to lead both high-end VFX and fast turnaround work, remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment, and must be able to handle multiple projects at a time. Additional duties include:

  • Anticipate and communicate issues to supervisors, leads and/or the project Executive Producer.

  • Oversee all master and final client deliveries.

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in each project.

  • Must be proactive and solution orientated.

  • Lead and advise project coordinators to ensure ongoing professional advancement.

  • Ensure quality control on all projects.

  • Work with resource management to monitor and review project resources so there is sufficient support staff and resources for each project.

  • Actualize projects each week. Ensuring projects say on track.

  • Nurture client relationships, maintaining current client relationships and seeking to forge new ones.

  • Advise clients on post-production techniques and shooting requirements.

  • Provide feedback and solutions to technical requirements and project workflow.

    WHAT YOU BRING:

    The ideal candidate will be a well-experienced VFX Producer, who has a solid understanding of VFX workflows and common deliverables specs. They will be experienced with fully CG projects, as well as live action, and be highly organized, proactive, and have exemplary time/project management skills. Additional desired skills include:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize conflicting tasks.

  • Able to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to work within a team towards a common goal.

  • Experience with CETA is a plus.

  • Ability to pick up new pipelines quickly is a plus.

  • Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus.

    The benefits for eligible part-time employees working 25 or more hours per week and full-time employees in the US include a comprehensive package of health, retirement, and insurance benefits and paid time off.
