Job Title : Product Owner

Location: New York City, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Product Owner will collaborate with business users to understand and anticipate their needs, define the vision for the product, create a product roadmap, manage the product backlog, and oversee all stages of product creation. This role involves working closely with the IT team and end-users, participating in Scrum meetings, and ensuring the product progresses smoothly through each stage of development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.

  • Define the vision for the team's product and maintain a cohesive vision throughout the process.

  • Create a product roadmap based on the defined vision.

  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks based on changing requirements.

  • Oversee all stages of product creation, including design and development.

  • Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process.

  • Work with the IT team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.

  • Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of web portals and experience with products such as AEM, Optimizely, etc.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with business users and translate their needs into product requirements.

  • Experience in defining product vision and maintaining it throughout the development process.

  • Ability to create and manage product roadmaps.

  • Experience in managing product backlogs and prioritizing tasks.

  • Strong understanding of product design and development stages.

  • Ability to monitor and evaluate product progress.

  • Experience working with IT teams and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.

  • Familiarity with Scrum methodology and participation in product sprints.
