Fortinet Cloud Network Engineer / Remote on East Coast / AWS + Azure

A growing company in the Insurance industry is looking to bring on a Cloud Network Engineer to the team. This engineer will have around 12 years of network experience and 5 years of experience working in the AWS and Azure cloud. This position is 6-month contract-to-hire and fully remote (east coast only).

The environment you will be hands-on with is Windows, and you will be working with on-prem servers performing an AWS migration to Azure. A project you will be working on as well is helping build out their data center and keeping it updated and secure using Fortinet. You will be responsible for doing a cloud clean-up, meaning updating and monitoring the AWS/Azure infrastructure.

Contract Duration: 6 months to hire

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience working in Systems/ Network

• 5+ years of experience working in AWS/Azure clouds

• Proven experience of building out Fortinet environments

• Comfortability using BGP networking tool

• Knowledge of on-prem servers and worked with them hands-on

• Have performed on-prem migrations to the cloud

Desire Skills & Experience

• United States Citizenship

• Resides along the East Coast

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Automation experience using ActiveBatch

• Industry experience (Insurance)

• Understanding of Nutanix and how to implement into an environment
