Company is in search of a Level I Maintenance Technician within the Grove City PA area. This is an exciting opportunity to excel your career with a leader in the food manufacturing industry. Qualified candidates must have 2-3 years of industrial maintenance/manufacturing experience or comparable technical school. Prior experience in a food or bottling manufacturing environment and welding is a plus. Level I technicians start out at $24.19/hr + OT and the opportunity to advance into a senior level role with gained experience. This is a 24/hr plant that will be rotating 12 hour shifts. responsibilities:
Performs electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and repair work; installs or replaces circuit breakers, fuses, variable speed drives speed drives, wiring, and conduit. Performs and assists in all operations maintenance activities.
Knowledge of pneumatic controls, cylinders, and valves.
Knowledge of hydraulic controls, cylinders, and valving.
Uses the company's computerized maintenance management system (SAP) to record and access maintenance related information.
Assist the machine operators with troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
Ensure all repairs are documented. Foster teamwork consistent with our company and plant Mission, Vision, and Core Values. Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Assist as needed on all types of maintenance calls throughout the plant. Knowledge of electrical codes, practices, and techniques, tools, and equipment.
Considerable knowledge of and ability to use standard hand and power tools and equipment used in electrical maintenance activities. Ability to use ladders, scaffolding, and operate hand and power tools in a safe, efficient manner.
Considerable knowledge and application of safety standards and precautions pertaining to electrical work.
Follow all GMPs and works in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
