Google Program Manager, Packaging Engineering in New Taipei City, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

  • 2 years of experience in a packaging program management or package engineering role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience working with project management tools.

  • Experience with packaging print development and production process, and shipping high volume and high quality products.

  • Experience leading cross-functional and international teams/projects.

  • Ability to capture the big picture, focus on key points, and improve processes.

  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

  • Build, drive, and manage Google packaging development (i.e., print and structure).

  • Drive the proto and xVT pack-out exercises, and lead the post build review with the cross-functional team.

  • Drive the open issue closure such as artwork discrepancies, P0/P1 REL issues.

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate key focus points and next steps with engineering, design, operations, marketing, management, legal, regulatory compliance, launch program management and system program management.

  • Improve and maintain processes that can ensure team members have what they need to understand and execute on all objectives.
