Google Custom Silicon Outsourced Assembly and Test Operations Engineer in New Taipei City, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Material Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience as a Semiconductor Manufacturing/Test Operation Engineer.

  • 8 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineering.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams with technical leadership and executive communication.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Material Engineering.

  • 15 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and testing.

  • Experience with SoC and PMIC productization.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.

  • Excellent people management and written and verbal communication skills.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you evaluate the product designs and create the processes, tools and procedures behind Google's powerful search technology. When vendors build parts for our infrastructure, you're right there alongside ensuring manufacturing processes are repeatable and controlled. You collaborate with Commodity Managers and Design Engineers to determine Google's infrastructure needs and product specifications. Your work ensures the various pieces of Google's infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience.

  • Drive cross-functional efforts for Technology and operational readiness during New Product Introduction (NPI).

  • Drive and resolve technical and operational issues of material, process, fixtures, and equipment to enable delivery of product and manufacturing process during NPI into Production.

  • Lead suppliers to establish and validate process capability and performance metrics for consistently delivering products and for excursion management.
