Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. The successful candidate will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure that our facilities are kept in excellent condition. These tasks include minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, as well as routine painting and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems, such as unclogging toilets and drains, repairing leaks, and replacing toilets and faucet fixtures as needed.

  • Carry out routine painting and carpentry work to maintain facilities in like-new condition, including repairing dry-wall, prepping areas, and matching paint.

  • Conduct minor electrical maintenance within state law requirements, such as repairing or replacing fixtures, wall switches, and outlets, and replacing light bulbs, ballasts, and sockets if necessary.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds.

  • Utilize multiple trade skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, and HVAC, to solve maintenance problems.

  • Maintain commercial properties by self-performing various maintenance duties.

  • Conduct daily field inspections to gather feedback on supplier effectiveness and client satisfaction, including service and asset inspections.

  • Complete assigned work orders according to schedule.

  • Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
