PAR Technology has an exciting opportunity! The Facilities Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the New Hartford, NY office. You will report directly into the Sr. Facilities Manager, with guidance from the Lead Facility Associate. Your responsibilities will entail cleaning and caring for the facility and carrying out cleaning and maintenance duties.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for the employees.
  • Wipe down, disinfect, and clean all kitchenettes throughout the facility.
  • Wipe down, disinfect, and clean all bathrooms throughout the facility except for first source Federal Credit Union which is our tenant, they have their own cleaning company.
  • Sweep and dust mop all PTC floors every day; in addition to mopping additionally when necessary
  • Maintain a fully stocked cleaning supply closet which includes all paper products and cleaning supplies by giving a weekly list of items that need to be ordered to the facilities manager.
  • Spot treat and clean any stains on rugs.
  • Vacuum the floors a minimum of once a week or as necessary.
  • Wipe down all door handles at least once a week.
  • All conference rooms are to be wiped down, dusted and cleaned and ready to use daily.
  • Organize a schedule of certain areas when they are to be cleaned to reduce interruption of our workplace.
  • Maintain and clean all glass in the lobbies and entryways.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Prior experience in facilities upkeep work is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Keen eye for cleanliness and detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within given deadlines.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is preferred
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Some leadership experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.

The hourly rate range for this position is $17-$19/hr USD (US) commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments.

The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
