As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of machinery and equipment to support manufacturing operations. Your role will involve preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. 1st shift, full time, direct hire opportunity.

salary: $50,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to mechanical systems, electrical components, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controls.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment malfunctions and technical problems using diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals. Identify root causes of failures and implement effective solutions to restore functionality and prevent recurrence.

Repair and Calibration: Conduct repairs, adjustments, and calibrations on machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation and alignment with production requirements. Replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.

Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, alarms, and production interruptions. Prioritize and address critical issues to minimize downtime and maintain continuity of operations.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, inspection reports, and parts inventory. Document repairs, replacements, and modifications to support traceability and compliance requirements.
