Description We are offering a short term contract opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in New Berlin, Wisconsin. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks related to accounts payable within the medical industry. You will be working in a hybrid workplace, spending part of your time in the office and part of your time working remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process high-volume invoices on a daily basis

• Perform a three-way match of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to ensure accuracy

• Handle any discrepancies that arise in purchase orders and invoices

• Manage intercompany invoices with a lower urgency level

• Initiate payment runs in coordination with other office locations

• Serve as the main point of contact for accounts payable in the New Berlin office

• Use the Basware system for most accounts payable tasks

• Utilize the Oracle ERP system for specific tasks

• Maintain a business casual environment in the office and ensure onsite parking is available. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficient in Account Coding procedures

• Demonstrated ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) operations

• Familiarity with the 3 Way Matching process in accounting

• Experience with Oracle or similar accounting software

• Proven skills in Invoice Processing and managing Invoice Discrepancies

• Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams

• Possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
