Description

We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, United States. As a Controller, you will play a key role in managing all accounting operations, ensuring quality control over financial transactions and reporting, and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements. This opportunity offers a long term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient and accurate processing of all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Controls, and Revenue Recognition.

• Play a crucial role in coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting.

• Take responsibility for supporting the month-end and year-end close-out process.

• Ensure the highest quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Manage and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

• Take on additional controller duties as necessary to support the team and operations.

Requirements • Proficiency in 3M is a must for the role.

• Familiarity with various accounting software systems is required.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.

• Proficiency in CRM is necessary for the role.

• Knowledge of Crystal Reports is expected.

• A strong understanding of accounting functions is necessary.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial.

• Auditing skills are necessary for the role.

• Familiarity with budget processes is required.

• Proficiency in Sage Software is expected for this role.
