Description

We are in search of an Accounting Clerk for a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry located in New Albany, Indiana, United States. The selected candidate will be part of our team, managing account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently and accurately

• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy of financial records

• Manage billing processes, ensuring all invoices are issued and processed on time

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks

• Efficiently carry out data entry tasks, ensuring all customer details are accurately recorded and updated

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Process customer credit applications accurately and in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit history

THIS POSITION IS PART TIME- 3 days/week

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Knowledge of Billing procedures is a must

• Skilled in Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Invoice Processing is desirable

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle software is required

• Experience with QuickBooks is beneficial

• SAP knowledge is a plus
