Our client is searching for a motivated Tier 1 Help Desk Professional to join their growing IT team in Nashville, TN! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal users, providing technical support and resolving a wide range of technology-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic user issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripherals.

• Manage user accounts in Active Directory, including password resets, lockouts, and group memberships.

• Diagnose and escalate complex technical problems to Tier 2 support.

• Document all interactions with users in a ticketing system.

• Provide clear and concise technical explanations to users in a professional and courteous manner.

• Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and procedures.

• Continuously learn and stay up to date on emerging technologies.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a technical support role (or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems.

• Experience using Active Directory, including user account management and group policies (preferred).

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
