The Global Fleet and Products team is responsible for maximizing the productivity of Amazon's delivery fleet and ensuring vehicles are in the right place at the right time to meet customer demand. Our delivery partners work out of stations across North America and are assigned delivery routes and packages 7 days a week that are delivered to customers by Amazon vehicles. As customer demand grows, more of Amazon's vehicles will need to hit the road more often. In high-velocity periods like Prime Day and the holidays, our partners need more vehicles than ever to deliver smiles to customers.
Amazon is seeking creative and efficient product/program managers to help Amazon achieve best-in-class fleet utilization and capacity in the United States and Canada. This individual will manage existing programs and deliver projects aligned with team goals across multiple Amazon businesses. Successful candidates will be natural self-starters who have prior experience in program management partnering with cross-functional teams. This individual will operate autonomously to scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones, and drive delivery. This individual would be comfortable performing data analysis, working across organizations, and managing all stages (from concept to delivery) of a project. This person must be able to influence leadership, communicate ideas effectively (verbally and in writing), and build consensus among groups with competing priorities.

• Lead cross-functional teams to define and deliver programs with broad impact
• Make high-judgement decisions to quickly resolve fleet capacity gaps
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings that drive sustainable improvement
• Perform data analysis to identify improvement opportunities
• Regularly report program status to Amazon leadership
A day in the life
The person in this role will perform a variety of activities in any given day. An example day could include leading a cross-functional meeting to understand the root cause of a problem, performing analysis to estimate the financial impact of a decision, editing a document that refines an Amazon-wide policy, and making decisions impacting Amazon's fleet capacity plan for the holidays.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Strong analytical skills combined with proficiency in Excel
