Kelly Services Part-Time Bookkeeper in Nashville, Tennessee

Part-Time Bookkeeper

Nashville, TN (12 South)

Temporary

$25-30/hr

*Position is hybrid (2 days onsite, 2 days remote)

*Schedule: 20-30 hours per week between Monday and Friday, 8am-5pm

Kelly is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to work with our client in the organic farming and livestock production industry on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a family-owned and run operation that upholds a strong reputation when it comes to animal welfare, regenerative farming, and traceability.

The Bookkeeper will:

  • Take on clean-up project in QuickBooks under direction of the CFO

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

  • Handle account reconciliations

  • Monitor financial transactions and reports

  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as sales tax

  • Assist with payroll as needed

  • Act as a liaison with vendors and other outside parties

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience

  • At least 2 years of recent and strong QuickBooks experience, preferably QuickBooks Online

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
