Adecco US, Inc. Civil Engineering Team Leader in Nashville, Tennessee
Adecco has partnered with a growing construction company in the Nashville, TN area that is looking to hire a Civil Engineer Team Lead for their team.
The ideal Civil Engineer Team Lead will possess strong leadership skills to effectively guide their team in achieving project goals and firm objectives. They will excel in marketing their expertise and leadership abilities to both existing and potential clients. Additionally, they will foster a collaborative environment, promoting proactive communication and team engagement to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Develop proposals and market services to clients and drive new business development through marketing efforts
Lead strategic planning to achieve team and firm objectives and participate in strategic planning for team and firm growth
Manage project design lifecycle
Ensure QA/QC in deliverables and constructability reviews
Attend meetings with clients, agencies, contractors, and design professionals
Oversee departmental budgets to ensure goal alignment
Mentor, manage, and expand the civil/site team and conduct performance appraisals and implement team building strategies
Perform additional responsibilities as required
Education/Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in civil site design
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within a year
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and land development software
Strong project management, team building, and communication skills
Understanding of marketing and strategic sales
