Taco Bell Shift Lead - Taco Bell in Nashville, North Carolina

Role: Enhance the operational efficiency of our restaurant as a proactive management team member supporting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM). Embrace challenges, provide solutions, and collaborate effectively. Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to service excellence.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Customer Satisfaction: Prioritize customer experience by adhering to the MIC (Manager-In-Charge) Success Routine, ensuring tasks related to People, Customers, and Service are accomplished.

  • Team Leadership: Ensure each Team Member fulfills their Shift Excellence duties. Promote a professional image by ensuring all staff maintain neat appearances and adhere to the company's dress code.

  • Service Excellence: Prioritize customer needs, ensure food safety and order accuracy, and resolve customer concerns swiftly and positively.

  • Collaboration: Foster a harmonious working environment. Offer help when needed and collaborate with peers and management.

  • Punctuality: Adhere to your work schedule, be punctual, and notify in advance if unavailable. Accurately log all work hours using the approved timekeeping system.

  • Proactiveness: Exhibit initiative by acting independently and energetically.

  • People Development: Offer feedback on Team Member performance to the RGM, provide constructive input to Team Members, and actively engage in their training. Handle conflicts maturely, working with the RGM for resolution.

  • Operational Management: Support financial management by adhering to cash handling and security guidelines, managing inventory, and optimizing labor. Ensure product quality by overseeing preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding standards. Assist RGM in facility upkeep and uphold health and safety standards. Undertake additional tasks as instructed by the manager.

Requirements:

  • Preferably an internal promotion from the Food Champion or Service Champion position.

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.

  • Must be willing to clear background checks and drug tests.

  • Reliable transportation is essential.

  • Proficient in basic business arithmetic.

  • Capable of managing shelves and cooler stocking.

  • Competent in supervising and providing direction to subordinate staff.

  • Physically fit to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and stoop for most of the shift duration.
