Adecco US, Inc. Electromechanical Repair Technician in Nashua, New Hampshire

Adecco Staffing is working with a Manufacturing Company in Nashua, NH who is looking to hire on an experienced Electromechanical Repair Technician! This is a full time, temp-to-hire opportunity.

Position:

  • Electromechanical Repair Technician

Hours:

  • 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday

Pay:

  • $30.00 - $36.00/hour based on experience

Position Summary:

This position specifically requires expertise in fine soldering skills for PCB manufacturing and re-work. Proven expertise in the use of soldering irons for installation or removal of micro-miniature components on PCB's for both SMT and thru-hole components. This position focuses on troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation and supporting manufacturing. This position is based in Nashua, NH and will report to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and follow assembly procedures for installation of SMT or Thru-hole components;

  • Expertise in the assembly of electronics products with specific experience in soldering;

  • Diagnose, disassemble, reassemble, and test electrical and mechanical systems on instrumentation;

  • Perform programming, testing, and debugging of instruments;

  • Perform inspection and test of in-process and incoming materials as assigned

  • Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve corrective actions;

  • Work with engineering to transition new products into production, assuring that proper documentation, test fixtures, inspection requirements and equipment are in place to facilitate a smooth transition to production.

  • This position is performed in a manufacturing test environment with moderate noise level and artificial climate control. Duties require both sitting and standing for varied amounts of time;

  • All other duties as assigned;

Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing electrical and mechanical assemblies:

  • 5+ years' experience in repairing scientific instrumentation:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience;

  • Ability to debug a failed board or assembly to component level.

  • Can Dig into sub-assemblies and debug functional test failures.

  • Demonstrated through-hole and SMT soldering required.

  • J-STD-001 and IPC-610 certification is highly preferred.

  • The individual in this position must have excellent attention to detail; ability to follow, or document processes; ability to communicate quality concerns to employees;

  • Understanding of Bill of Material structure in assembly processes;

  • QA experience is a strong plus for this position;

Pay Details: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour
