Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology Department (CV NP)

Location: Saint Joseph Hospital, Nashua, New Hampshire

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology Department as a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner (CV NP). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in the provision of exceptional cardiac care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise exercise and pharmacological cardiac stress testing for both outpatient and inpatient populations.

  • Conduct focused physical examinations on patients undergoing cardiac stress testing.

  • Interpret 12 lead electrocardiograms (ECG) to assess cardiac health.

  • Determine the appropriateness of stress test orders, adjusting or deferring as necessary to ensure patient safety.

  • Maintain effective communication with primary care providers, cardiology teams, and hospitalist services to ensure seamless continuity of care for mutual patients.

  • Recognize and treat abnormal physiological responses during stress testing to ensure patient safety and well-being.

    Qualifications:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Hampshire.

  • Previous experience in supervising and conducting cardiac stress testing.

  • Proficient in interpreting 12 lead electrocardiograms (ECG).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Ability to make informed decisions and demonstrate critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
