We are seeking a HR Generalist to join our hard working and fast-paced team. The experienced HR Generalist will be responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise along with assisting in providing a wide range of HR support and advice. The HR Generalist will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and the management team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Functions as HR contact for the Division. Ensures consistent application of HR policies, practices, procedures and compliance with state and federal laws.
Organizes, coordinates and implements the recruitment process which includes: identifying most effective coordinating sourcing channels (social media sourcing, colleges/universities, trade schools, referrals, job fairs, on-line job boards appropriate for the job. Monitor channels effectiveness.
Partners with hiring managers/supervisors to identify and understand personnel needs, job specifications, duties, qualifications and skills necessary to recruit for the position.
Assesses potential candidates for fit within the position identified including skills, education and experience
