Description
POSITION SUMMARY : This position will be responsible for receiving requisitions via SAP and assigning purchase orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Communicating and confirming information with vendors.
Tracking all orders for materials and services to insure timely and accurate processing.
Maintains good vendor relations.
Supplying support and assistance to Corporate Buyers.
Other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
High School Diploma/GED is required; 4-year degree is preferred
Two or more years of purchasing experience is preferred Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite
Must have excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Internet Explorer.
SAP software experience preferred
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills, must be able to work with all levels of management and hourly team members
Strong work ethic—self-motivated and driven
Must be self-motivated to perform simultaneous tasks without close continuous supervision
