What would you do as our Strategic Purchaser – Direct Material – to ASSA ABLOY Scandinavia
ASSA ABLOY Opening Solution Scandinavia is offering a broad and inspiring role as a Strategic Purchaser for Direct Materials. The strategic procurement department is organized in category streams - this means you will have an end-to-end sourcing responsibility for your category that extends throughout the Scandinavian region. The work takes place in close collaboration with Finland and with EMEIA's sourcing teams and with other functions within Scandinavia, mainly Material Management, Quality, R&D and Product Management.
As a Strategic Purchaser you will also play an important role regarding the development and implementation of our processes and policies. Occasional travelling (around several business trips per year) may be required.
You will report to Henrik Lönnqvist, our Procurement Director.
You would also:
Deliver results on a number of purchasing KPIs for your category
Develop strategy and action plans to achieve goals in your own category
Be responsible for end-to-end optimization of suppliers and supply chain
Take an active role as procurement representative in development projects
Actively support Supply Chain and Quality department upon escalation
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
Has several years of demonstrated working experience within Sourcing, Procurement or Purchasing role
Is fluent in English and able to communicate with stakeholders of all levels
Is available to travel internationally as per the business need
Can work in one of our 3 offices based in Esklistuna, Mölnlycke or Stockholm

You are genuinely passionate about procurement and technology. You can navigate comfortably in cross functional teams, inspire and collaborate as well as organize your work and administration on your own.
