Emerson Product Manager, Level System Hardware Marine in MÖLNLYCKE, Sweden

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Owning a range of level hardware product program overall priorities and roadmap, ensuring it is strategically aligned. Ensuring that products are updated and meet market and quality requirements

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product program strengths and weaknesses compared to market needs and competition. Find opportunities for improvement and develop proactive driven strategies as well as responsive actions detailed in visions, strategies & roadmaps.

  • Drive product related investigations and generate specifications for product enhancement projects and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal functions such as E&D, the project management office, integrated marketing and production.

  • Collaborate closely with business units, including global sales, BDMs, and industry managers, to understand market dynamics

  • Participate as key member that secures that products under the Product Manager responsibility are successfully transferred into a new environment when our new System is introduced early 2025.

  • Other overarching product management topics, including Product Life Cycle Management , New Product Development (NPD) and Sustaining Engineering ensuring the incorporation of the voice of the customer into relevant processes.

Who You Are:

We seek a senior professional with a minimum of five years of related experience. You have a broad technical understanding rather than deep and narrow expertise. We expect a strong customer focus and a curiosity for new challenges as well as a ‘can-do’ ambitious mentality and drive. You have strong communication and presentation abilities, and leadership comes naturally for you.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Have a proven experience (5 years) in product management or similar.

  • A strong personal drive with a strategic mentality and can combine technology with customer needs. You are a doer!

  • A broad technical understanding where your expertise spans across various technical domains rather than being limited to a narrow specialization.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in teams with empathy, responsibility, and persuasiveness.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or equivalent qualification.

  • Fluency in English

  • Ability to travel 10-15 days per year

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Background in the marine industry, particularly in cargo and fuel monitoring, is considered an an advantage as well as proficiency in Swedish.

  • experience in a client facing role would be an advantage.

  • Mix of experiences of both practical and theoretical nature.
