D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a_Land Acquisition Assistant_for their Operations Department. The right candidate will be responsible forproviding administrative assistance to the Land Acquisition Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Contract administration * With direction, submit plans to City or County agencies for processing * Distribution and review of department documents (i.e., sequence sheets, development schedules, color scheme documents, plans, lot exhibits, phasing maps, etc.) * Prepare check requests for various permits and fees * Data entry of project information (plan types, lot #, addresses, phasing, etc.) * With direction, coordinate building plan submission with consultants * Process bond requests * Process certificate of insurance requests * Maintain filing * Log and track plans, check requests and contracts * Assist with budget updates and invoice approval
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
