Amazon Smart Vehicles is seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager to lead on B2B marketing tactics like events, webinars, customer stories or executive engagement. This strategic role calls for an adept marketing leader with a passion for crafting and steering marketing initiatives that resonate with the automotive industry, particularly in promoting our AI-based voice assistant and infotainment technology. This position offers an opportunity to leverage creative marketing skills and passion for automotive with one of the world's leading technology companies, while experiencing the excitement, innovation and dynamic growth of voice technology and AI.

The successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically, be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and a passionate marketing leader who has a track record of delivering and measuring superior B2B marketing results.

This is a part-time role for 19 hours per week.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute cutting-edge global B2B marketing campaigns which clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of Amazon Smart Vehicles' products to industry audiences.

  • Lead B2B revenue generation initiatives through customer stories, executive engagement, and other channels.

  • Take a leadership role in event marketing, conceptualizing and executing industry events that enhance brand visibility and product understanding among key stakeholders.

  • Establish strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with OEMs, driving collaborative marketing efforts that showcase the value of integrating Amazon Smart Vehicles' solutions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders, including product management, business development, and PR teams, to align marketing and communication strategies with broader business objectives.

  • Track and analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and product developments.

  • Manage B2B marketing budgets and resources, ensuring effective allocation in line with strategic priorities and ROI targets.

A day in the life

You will be working with product and field teams, marketing and PR teams both internally and externally with OEM partners. You will be balancing Amazon Leadership Principles on a regular basis bridging the space between the automotive industry and the Amazon world. You will be dealing with ambiguity around pre-launch products and find ways to market despite feature changes. You will ideate creative ways to market, steer agencies, influence stakeholders, take ownership of campaign implementation, analyze results, and iterate based on the learnings. You base your strategies on a fair level of knowledge about B2B marketing channels, and leverage your advanced project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt to new scenarios to deliver high quality results.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in professional non-internship marketing

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
