Description We are in search of a meticulous and proficient Accounting Clerk to become a part of our team in Mundelein, Illinois. The chosen individual will play an integral role in our finance department with the primary focus on accounts receivable and payable, billing, invoice processing, and data entry. This role is crucial to maintaining our financial integrity and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain precise and up-to-date customer credit records

• Resolve any customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and initiate appropriate action to collect overdue payments

• Handle accounts payable and receivable duties meticulously

• Facilitate billing processes and ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner

• Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial functions and reporting

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless financial operations

• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department by assisting in other accounting tasks as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role or similar position

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with billing procedures

• Strong data entry skills

• Experience in invoice processing

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
