Job Description
Senior Analyst, overheads & special projects
You will be Senior analyst in a team responsible for overall financial integrity and performance delivery of the overheads budgets for India. You will also be supporting in driving and delivering special projects of strategic importance for the business. You will support the Manager, Overheads and Special Projects in data collection to prepare business proposals, verify assumptions, check execution, and support delivery of overall objectives and ensure integrity and timeliness of reporting. You may also have to manage third party providers resources.
The role involves partnering India business leaders and is instrumental in ensuring sustainable & profitable business growth along with managing all monthly reporting, partnering with region, closing accurate forecasts, partner long term planning.
Support in End-to-End India overheads management and delivery
Business Partner to BU LT/ Supporting all monthly and quarterly management reviews
Supporting the annual budgeting/strategy plan, quarterly forecasting for India, monthly LEs
Package wise compliance; ensuring accounting controls in place
Work on long term initiatives for reducing complexity, driving spend efficiency
Detailed analysis on various spend areas; Identifying trends to support decision making
Support in delivery of special projects of strategic importance

Duties and responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Annual Planning & forecasting for India in alignment with different functions along with detailed analysis on drivers; identify saving opportunities
Key team member in driving forecast accuracy, actual delivery in line with forecast
Deep-dive into monthly performance against plan and previous year, detailed variance analysis for identifying reasons of deviations and discussing the same with cross-functional stakeholders for any course correction/decision making
Ensuring simplified and agile understanding of results to management through structured monthly scorecard based reporting
Identify and highlight trends for effective and timely decision making
Robust track of R&O for timely action by management
Ensure compliance to reporting, accounting guidelines (reviews/approvals/ submissions)
Support in delivery of special projects of strategic importance for the business
To drive the finance simplification and digitization agenda
Ad-hoc requirements and analysis are an integral part of the role
Competency
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience, knowledge in:
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including data collection and structuring, analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets; SAP knowledge would be an added advantage
BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market dynamics. Relevant experience in a regional/local business
LEADERSHIP SKILLS including experience with business partnering and communication skills across a large regional or local public company
GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify/execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations
