How you will contribute

You will ensure that delivered services are optimized to meet business demands and the service operations strategy, plan, measure, report and communicate service improvement initiatives, and serve as a consultant on issues and resolutions. You will also recommend actions that can be taken to optimize investments and benefits and to mitigate risks. This role will require you to identify suppliers, evaluate them, on-board new vendors, establish and run vendor governance; collaborate with management and follow-up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments; work with project resources to provide design collateral and to configure software components so they are aligned with security policy and governance; and ensure adherence to development and configuration standards and processes.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE / FUNCTIONAL CONTEXT:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Logistics expert (Warehousing & Transportation) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP Warehouse Management and Transportation solutions, combined with strong project management skills and a proven track record of managing large-scale projects. Experience in the Consumer Goods (CPG) industry is highly desirable.

The role will require a fair understanding of supply chain logistics processes, stakeholder management (including vendors) and customer (internal/external) engagement experience. The role requires interactions at a BU, Regional and Global level ensuring that enterprise initiatives are planned as per our standard MDS processes and delivered in BU/Region in a cost-effective manner with a high degree of customer satisfaction. The role might also involve governance of vendors performing these services for Mondelez and collaborating with the wider MSC MDS team to ensure seamless execution

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support large scale SAP projects (CWM/DWM/EWM/TMS) from inception to completion - with the ability to manage scope, design, testing, schedule, budget, resources and risks

  • Oversee the configuration of WM and TM systems, provide guidance around industry standards and best practices

  • Lead operational activities such as Portfolio Management (e.g. handling MSPO), project status reporting, presentations for engagement with Regional/Global LT on a monthly/quarterly basis

  • Ensure the MDS organization is kept aligned to agreed Operating model, Governance structure and ways of working at a Regional/Global level

  • Establish, collect and track metrics that provide insights on the WM & TM systems’ performance linked to AMEA MSC

  • Proactive risk management and continuous improvement (delivery agenda, people capability, process streamlining etc.) by keeping a lookout for optimization opportunities

SKILLSET EXPECTED:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science, Business, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managing SAP WMS and TMS related projects

  • Deep knowledge of SAP functionalities (warehouse structure, inbound and outbound processes, and inventory management under WMS; freight order management, load building & optimization, track and trace capabilities under TMS)

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA & EWM is preferred

  • Familiarity with other SAP modules and their integration points with WM solutions (e.g., SAP MM)

  • Exposure to basic Project management / PMO tools, platforms and methodologies - e.g. Project charters, RAID logs, TGM (MDLZ context), MSPO, MPP etc.

  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills

  • Strong stakeholder management, with an ability to positively influence decision making process(es)

  • Sharp business acumen, with an appetite for continuous learning (exposure to key Supply chain domains/functions/processes would be an added plus)

  • Good analytical and problem-solving capability, with a drive for results

  • Willingness to travel, if required (5-10%)
