As a Senior Technical Program Manager in the Azure Solutions & Ecosystem group, you will spearhead customer-led innovation by becoming a design partner with Product Management and Software Engineering teams, to enable customers to optimize running their workloads in Azure. You will democratize knowledge by contributing to technical documentation, including reference architectures, whitepapers and public blogs. Responsibilities

  • You will act as a technical advisor to educate and evangelize various products and service, working with customers via meetings, presentations, and other forums.

  • You will lead direct customer engagements to solicit feedback and understand their experiences with the Azure Solution & Ecosystem services.

  • You will drive the customer supportability experience across multiple Azure Solution & Ecosystem services and provide documentation such as reference architectures, whitepapers and blogs.

  • You will partner with Software Engineering to design technical solutions across feature areas.

  • You’ll also identify risks and propose data-based mitigations.

  • You’ll define success criteria and create relationships for implementing features for complex cross-functional projects. You’ll coordinate and ensure alignment across organizations.

  • You will drive continuous improvements by validating use cases.

  • You’ll also lead teams to partner with other departments to collect performance metrics, drive customer support, and lead direct customer engagements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 3+ years experience in core VMware technologies, such as vSphere, vSAN, and NSX, as a technical practitioner.

  • 3+ years experience in Oracle Database services and related technologies.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis,

  • OR product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 2+ years authoring technical documentation, such as reference architectures and whitepapers.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
