In partnership with oracle, We are building the best multi cloud platform for running oracle databases. This is an industry redefining partnership that helps customers with dependency on oracle Exadata to lift and shift their oracle databases to cloud with our compromising on performance, security, supportability and price. In this specific role, you will work as part of the OracleDatabase@Azure product engineering team that specializes in building the solution, Expand the service globally and also manage Integrating with Azure AI and other 1st and 3rd party services in Azure.

As a Technical Program Management with hands on experience with oracle database management , Preferably Exadata administration, Migration of oracle to cloud, Usage of tools like GoldenGate/ Datagaurd you will be an Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the team working with other PMs and engineers to help drive clean integration and experiences for the oracle services in Azure. You will also be PM accountable for oversight in to validation of best practices to run oracle on Azure and have the ability to influence product roadmap and engineering investments for oracle@Azure.

  • You will help others as they design technical solutions. You will also identify risks, escalating them to next levels when needed.

  • Based on success criteria, you’ll help others develop and implement features for cross-functional projects. You’ll begin to understand how to collaborate and ensure alignment across teams.

  • Under supervision, you will help others adhere to roadmap for single features, track project schedules, manage staging and implementation, and comply with governance programs.

  • You will help others drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and partnering with other departments to collect performance metrics.

  • You will partner with others in helping customers safely migrate thier oracle workloads to Azure.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degreeo OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year(s) of experience with Oracle Exadata

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 1+ year(s) experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis,

  • OR product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

  • Understanding of machine learning, large language models and AI.

  • Understanding of Oracle Database Administration.

  • Familiarity with third-party ISV solutions and integration with Azure.

Technical Program Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,600 - $174,600 per year.
