The Digital Marketplace Media Lead will spearhead all media-related initiatives within the US, ensuring alignment with both local and global media plans. This role requires a strategic thinker with an understanding of retail media networks, digital excellence, and marketing analytics. This person will be a key player in driving media strategy, providing digital guidance, and delivering insightful campaign reporting.

Responsibilities

Media Strategy and Execution:

o Lead strategic local US media plans and integrate them with global media strategies.

o Serve as a consultant and partner to Partner Marketing Managers (PMMs) to ensure successful campaign implementation with retail media networks.

o Act as the budget owner for media-related expenditures.

o Manage external agency and publisher relationships to progress overall search capabilities and drive thought leadership across the organization.

Digital Excellence:

o Provide strategic counsel and digital guidance to those across the team investing in media plans.

o Build digital acumen for the consumer organization– training/consulting including staying up to date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution and programmatic media buying

o Drive key connections on worldwide programs (e.g., Help me Choose) to enhance digital capabilities across the team and support growth plans to address opportunities

Analytics and Reporting:

o Analyze media performance data, guidance on risks to plans and deliver actionable campaign insights.

o Utilize reporting tools to measure and optimize campaign effectiveness

o Build clear test & learn plans.

o Research and test partnerships with new vendors to expand our reach and/or lower cost-per-acquisition; includes building business plans for new ideas.

o Clearly and concisely communicate program performance and progress against goals in a cross-functional setting

Leadership and Collaboration:

o Lead an Americas Marketing Council, fostering collaboration and strategic alignment.

o Serve as the primary connection point to the Global Media Team, Worldwide marketing, PMG, Digital Direct, and Legal departments.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field AND 4+ years digital, retail, channel marketing, marketing, retail sales, or commercial sales experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in media planning and execution, within a retail media network context.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field AND 5+ years digital, retail, channel marketing, marketing, retail sales, or commercial sales experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 3+ years Digital, Retail, Channel Marketing, Marketing, Retail Sales, or commercial sales experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year(s) project leadership/generic management experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing digital strategy and training to marketing teams.

  • Communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders, across all levels of the organization from external vendors to senior leadership.

  • Budget management experience is preferred.

  • Experience in managing and collaborating with multi-functional internal teams and external agencies.

  • Ability to effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation, using strong project management, and organizational skills.

Channel Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
