The Senior Application Developer will design, develop, test, and implement computer systems and applications for the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). The role supports 7 instances of Accela across 3 agencies and 4 additional agencies. Key responsibilities include providing technical support, evaluating new development tools, and serving as a Technical Consultant to streamline business processes. The developer will maintain and modify existing applications, develop new applications, and rewrite legacy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and implement applications.
- Support and enhance agencies' data needs.
- Provide technical support to team members.
- Evaluate and recommend new development tools.
- Develop solutions to streamline business processes.
Required Skills:
- PowerBuilder, JAVA, JavaScript, .NET, HTML, XML, SQL.
- Microsoft VISIO, Project, Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Relational and database concepts, telecommunication concepts, web services.
- Rhino JavaScript, Accela scripting, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience with Accela Civic Platform for Licensing and Case Management.
- Experience with reporting tools (AD HOC and Crystal Reports).
- Experience with Accela data migration, design, development, and testing.
- Knowledge of setting up application security roles and best practices.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with Accela Mobile Office and GIS.
- Familiarity with Oracle databases and Accela payment adapter configurations.
