Google Senior Augmented Reality Ecosystem System Engineer in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience with Augmented Reality technology.

  • 4 years of experience in technical troubleshooting of mobile or embedded systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience managing technical projects in a professional setting, including business communication.

  • 4 years of experience with a general coding language (e.g., Python, Java, etc.).

  • 4 years of experience in systems engineering (e.g., systems integration, systems testing).

  • 4 years of experience with embedded system design, debugging, troubleshooting, and interactions between hardware and software at the system level.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$266,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Provide technical support by sharing technical overviews, prioritizing OEM issues, and building certification processes.

  • Assess current needs and issues of clients in order to provide recommendations and consult on ongoing projects.

  • Create and review process and design documentation, including work guidelines, specifications, and technical engineering documentation.

  • Coordinate with partners to understand and analyze business specifications, recommend integration solutions, and resolve issues.
