Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

  • Experience defining and launching silicon products.

  • Experience with launching natural language processing algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with computing, connectivity, operating systems, software frameworks, software applications, and development life-cycles.

  • Experience with consumer hardware development life-cycles and ODM/CM working models.

  • Experience in Speech and language, Machine Learning, Audio subsystems or processors, Smart microphones, Semiconductors, Electronics, SoC design/architecture, or consumer electronics.

  • Experience with AI, ML, or Large Language models, as well as natural language processing algorithms.

  • Excellent influencing, communication, and executive management skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager, you will collaborate with Google research and silicon teams to bring key machine learning research. Lead, influence, and partner with various teams to productize Speech and Language ML features that enhance first-party devices. The team focuses on implementing current and future Speech and Language ML research on Google Tensor.

In this role, you will drive Speech and Language ML hardware and software collaboration across silicon engineering, advanced research teams, and device hardware/software groups. You will define a roadmap to deliver distinguishing features for first-party devices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Define differentiated and compelling Speech and Language ML Silicon solutions and roadmap that leverage Google’s hardware, software, and ML capabilities.

  • Influence, inspire, collaborate, and lead a broad team across architecture, software, IC design, operations, product management, and advanced research to create differentiated experiences in first-party devices.

  • Evaluate new applications, use cases, proofs-of-concept, technologies and standards, and advocate on adoption based on silicon and system-level considerations, competitive landscape, cost, usefulness, helpfulness, and more.

  • Collaborate with marketing and legal for product launches enabled with Google Tensor.

  • Establish relationships with Speech and Language partners to develop knowledge of capabilities and roadmaps.
