Our Products and Services Marketplace (PSM) vision is to become the definitive B2B commerce platform for all organizations worldwide, empowering marketers, sellers, buyers, users and customers to drive better outcomes for themselves and their businesses. The PSM strategy recognizes that we will continue to deliver value to our LMS and LSS businesses, and that the lion’s share of our investment will be going to directly drive growth in these two areas. As a Principal Staff Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading key technical and operational initiatives supporting AI/product platforms foundational across Products and Services Marketplaces (PSM) and partner orgs. You will also drive large-scale cross-functional AI platform initiatives and build executive alignment to deliver impact. Your work will directly contribute to our purpose of creating economic opportunities and fostering productivity for professionals worldwide.

Successful candidates will have a solid track record of program and project management and will have demonstrated excellent leadership, along with superior organizational and communication skills in leading teams and programs to deliver successful outcomes. In addition, the right candidate will possess superior B2B business strategy sense, product intuition, and technical understanding to fully integrate with product development teams and contribute at any level of depth.

Responsibilities:

•Lead the end-to-end execution of critical AI platform investments, spanning several years, from conceptualization to successful implementation.

•Coordinate technical requirements, acting as a liaison between platform owners and internal customer teams

•Drive decision-making among stakeholders to explore and propose top options for resolution, driving alignment and ownership of solutions.

•Develop strong partnerships with engineering and product management leaders to drive focus on strategic and tactical program objectives in PSM

•Drive alignments and prioritization across all technology initiatives, manage roadmap for a single consistent view and lead communications

•Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure program success

•Convey complex technical concepts and progress updates to executive-level stakeholders, fostering understanding and alignment across multiple organizational units.

•Drive prioritization discussions, emphasizing the importance of technical depth and credibility to gain support for strategic initiatives.

•Create a collaborative work environment that fosters shared understanding, transparency, mastery, autonomy, innovation and continuous learning

•Coach and mentor others in TPM and Agile best practices

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.

•9+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Product Management

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience driving large Consumer Products, Enterprise or Ads domain programs and initiatives.

•Proven expertise in driving complex AI and hardware capacity initiatives, delivering successful outcomes.

•Technical program management experience with a strong focus on infrastructure and scalability

•Exceptional communication and persuasion skills, capable of convincing and aligning executive-level stakeholders.

•Ability to quickly adapt to faster pace, shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

•Ability to identify technical disconnects and propose top options for resolution while taking ownership of driving alignment.

•Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a passion for fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

•Relevant certifications in program management and technology.

•Experience establishing organization-wide processes and communication framework for R&D initiatives

•Prior software development experience

•Knowledge of complex technical ecosystems and technical depth

•Experience managing multiple major and concurrent projects/programs executed through multiple geographic locations

•Experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams and individual contributors

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $185,000 - $304,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
