rrPosition Summary:

rThis position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.

Duties may include:

  • Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions
  • Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff
  • Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets
  • Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records
  • Maintaining program calendars and schedules
  • May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
  • Other duties as assigned

rrMinimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree

{=html} <!-- --> - Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions - Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials - Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research

rrPreferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree
  • Experience:
    • Program development and implementation in an academic environment;
    • Using centralized computer systems (such as financial) while completing administrative tasks
    • Independently solving problems and performing liaison activities in a work setting and coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements
    • Grant writing and compliance
    • Tribal cultural protocols
    • Native American education policies
    • Regional Tribal infrastructure, cultures, and federal and Tribal sovereignty issues
