The Lead Flexographic Printing Press Operator performs setup, testing, and cleaning of specialty pharma equipment. This level applies to highly experienced equipment operators who perform at an advanced level of proficiency.

This is a 2nd shift position: 2:00pm - 10:30pm with overtime availability

Responsibilities:

  • Applies full knowledge of the functions and mechanical workings of all specialty pharma machines. Performs setup, testing, cleaning, and assembly or products using equipment as specified while adhering to productivity standards

  • Performs ISO/cGMP appropriate quality tests for operations performed on all machines, maintains work area organization and documentation to satisfy ISO and GMP standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolves uncommon problems, assists other operators in troubleshooting and resolving uncommon problems

  • Accurately interprets documents necessary to deliver the components for jobs, assists other operators in interpreting and applying job documents

  • Supports training for other operators on manufacturing processes and equipment operation

  • Receives limited supervision, exercising judgement within broadly defined policies and practices in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

  • Performs non-routine/complex duties with limited supervision

  • Supports Research and Development activities, including participation in product/process development trials, carrying out new types of raw material and product characterization/performance testing and use of experimental materials

  • Performs material transactions in ERP of raw, in process, and finished goods used in production processes

  • Possesses full knowledge of all job-related policies and procedures in moderately complex situations with limited supervision

  • Interacts effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve moderately complex problems

  • Complies with all required safety practices, regulations, and use of PPE. Maintains and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Maintains good communication and productive working relationships internally, generally within immediate department or team

  • Attendance at the worksite is required on a regular and ongoing basis

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience

  • Experience operating any combination of manufacturing, converting, and finishing equipment (die cutting, laminating, slitting)

    Preferred Requirements:

  • High School or equivalent

Salary: USD 26.00 - USD 39.00 Hourly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
