Morris Hospital Student Intern Clinical in Morris, Illinois
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Assisting the therapists in their day to day work to assist in the smooth running of the department, both at the hospital and outpatient facility at Gore Road (DRC). Organizing treatment rooms and equipment, stocking supplies, cleaning therapy equipment, clerical duties and office based projects, observation of treatments and tasks associated with direct patient care, The Rehab Services Intern will work closely with another team member. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
Strong computer skills, specifically Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills(written & verbal)
Personal
Professional appearance, energetic, self-motivated, able to work independently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Students interested in a career in Rehabilitation, Occupational, Physical or Speech Therapy may excel in this position.
