WHAT WE’RE DOING

The Lockheed Martin International Mission Systems (IMS) Asia Region is seeking a senior program manager to lead capture efforts critical to the IMS portfolio. Candidates should have experience managing complex development programs, international program background, and prior capture management experience. Roles and responsibilities include developing new business with US and international customers, leading a capture team, fostering customer relationships, and working with various functional stakeholders to generate and deliver proposals. A successful candidate will work effectively with several international government customers, international industry partners, and throughout the Lockheed Martin organization to build strong working relationships to support the development and execution of a winning capture strategy. The candidate will report to the IMS Asia Region Portfolio Manager.

THE WORK

The IMS Asia Region Capture Program Manager responsibilities include:

• Leading a cross-functional team in the generation and execution of comprehensive campaign strategies to capture new business in a highly competitive environment

• Support development and execution of keep sold strategies for existing programs

• Government customer and foreign industry partner engagements and relationship management

• Conduct capture program reviews for various levels of senior and executive leadership

Basic Qualifications:

• Program management experience with proven profit/loss leadership skills

• Experience leading the development and delivery of large proposals

• Proven ability to establishing customer and industry partner relationships

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and budget challenges in a dynamic environment

• Advanced business acumen including the ability to investigate, comprehend, and interpret complex challenges

• Think and act both strategically and tactically

• Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally based on business needs, approximately 25%

• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Active Secret Security Clearance preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field

• 8 or more years experience in engineering, capture, program management or related field

• Demonstrated successful capture of new government or commercial business

• Business Development / Capture Manager experience

• Thorough understanding of the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) win plan

• Program management experience with software and/or hardware development or production programs

• Experience managing multiple concurrent, highly visible, priorities/projects

• Works well with all levels of the organization, up to and including senior executives

• Experience with the Aegis program or Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors (IWSS) portfolio

• Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to clearly articulate technology development and strategies to both internal and external organizations

• Experience leading teams and ability to influence individuals and teams

• Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support business needs

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
