The expected annual salary range for this role is $65,250.00 - $95,700.00 a year.

What you’ll do:

This role sits on the Commercial Accounting team, which resides under the Commercial Finance Pillar of the Electrical Sector, North America. Accountable for ensuring the Power Systems agents are paid on time each month with a minimal amount of commission errors, reporting accurate information, and responding to internal/external business partners inquiries in a timely manner.

The primarily responsibility of the role is overseeing the monthly domestic Utility and C&I agent commission process and managing any necessary commission corrections by partnering with the sales and marketing teams. The role will also be responsible for processing commissions for Canadian and other international agents, as well as processing commissions for agents operating under the Point of Sale (POS) model. Monthly reporting responsibilities include commission statement creation for internal and external partners. The role works and communicates directly with internal sales/marketing teams and external agents.

In addition to Power Systems commission responsibilities, the role will support the Commercial Accounting pillar as the North American Sales division central Purchasing Card (Procard) holder. The Procard holder is responsible for coordinating with business partners/leaders to secure season sporting tickets and other hospitality related purchases as required. The role will expand into additional areas of financial responsibility, including the monthly closing process, reporting, forecasting, and Profit Incentive administration support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Process monthly Power Systems commissions corrections for Utility and C&I agents

  • Proactive approach to fix root cause of commission errors (data integrity of Master Data / Vistex agreements)

  • Process Canadian/International/POS commissions

  • Maintain commission reporting and documentation

  • Critical analysis of commission calculation/correction data

  • Complete commission statement reporting and communicate with internal/external business partners

  • Purchasing Card administrator and central Procard holder (track transactions and complete expense reporting)

  • Assist in the monthly financial closing, reporting, and forecasting activities

  • Provide backup support to the Profit Incentive administrator

  • Complete other responsibilities, ad hoc reporting, and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in commissions, commercial accounting, or financial planning.

  • Knowledge of financial systems, policies, and procedures.

  • High proficiency in Excel, and PowerBI, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
