    About the "Department"

  • The Finance department at Montrose Regional Health does accounting and reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash receipts, cash management and investments . The department is also responsible for the issuance of debt for capital projects, purchasing, and budget preparation.

    About The Career:

  • Organizes and maintains financial accounting systems, including accounts payable, general ledger, employee payroll, cash disbursements, financial statements, cost reports, and tax information. Supervises the Accounting Department. Instrumental in assisting in financial planning, business development implementation strategy, reimbursement planning and portfolio analysis as well as be responsible for financial reporting oversight for Montrose Regional Health. Additional major functions include forecast/budget planning, third party cost reporting, internal controls, auditing/and related year end audit preparation, account analysis and reconciliation, and financial statement preparation and analysis. This position will be responsible for directing financial processes reporting to the Hospital's Chief Financial Officer.

    All About You :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required. CPA is preferred.

  • Three years of financial management experience required.

  • Five years operating an accounting and finance department in a health care organization preferred

  • Health System Revenue Cycle Understanding required.

  • Previous large organization experience preferred.

  • Process improvement, leadership, and communication skills required.
