M & M Disposal CDLA Tractor-Trailer Driver in Monte Vista, Colorado
JOB TITLE: CDL A Tractor-Trailer Driver
MUSTS: Must hold a Class A CDL License with good motor vehicle record. Must be at least 24 years old, due to Employer Insurance policy. Must be able to perform heavy lifting (50lbs) on a daily basis. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and other physical Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Prefer applicant to be located in the San Luis Valley as all runs are within the same area.
SKILLS: Will need to be well organized and have a good time management skills. Will also need to have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and co-workers. As the face of the company, effective customer service skills are necessary in order to maintain outstanding service to current and prospective clients as well as the community. Prefer applicant who is interested in long-term employment.
DUTIES: Primary job is driving a heavy truck to pick up and drop off roll-off refuse containers. All trucks are automatic transmission. Will need to perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, as the driver s safety is top priority. In conjunction with driver s safety, taking care of the equipment will ensure that. May perform other duties as assigned.
WAGES: $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience. Salary to be discussed further with the Employer. Paid Bi-weekly.
BENEFITS: Benefits available 1 (one) year after employment start date. Available benefits to be discussed further with the employer.
JOB TO START: As soon as a qualified applicant is hired.
DURATION: This is a permanent position.
SHIFT: This is a full time, 40 hours per week position. Monday through Friday from 7AM to 5PM
