Harbor Wholesale Receptionist-CSR in Modesto, California

Front and Center -

This position of Receptionist will be trained into more advanced Customer Service items. Our CSR are responsible for handling customer requests, inquiries, and complaints. Our Customer Services Representatives are the central link that connects our customers with the people at Harbor Wholesale. This position is at our front desk and is the main link to the C/S Department.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8 am to 5 pm

Duties for Customer Service Representatives:

  • Answering phones - There is moderate phone usage with this position
  • Handling customer requests, questions, and complaints in satisfactory manner
  • Communications facilitator between our Customers and other departments
  • Telemarketing duties - Calling accounts regularly and entering orders
  • Initiate customer credits for products according to return policies and procedures
  • Other tasks that include typing, copying, scanning, and data entry
  • Assist Sales Representatives, as needed
  • Special tasks as assigned by the Customer Service Manager

Skills and Abilities

  • Customer service and/or clerical experience is preferred
  • Can navigate through a computer
  • Phone skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can operate a fax & copy machine
  • Basic use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Multitasker; easily adapts to changes
  • 10-Key
  • Cheerful personality with a desire to help others
