Details:
Addiction clinic in Mobile, AL
Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Schedule - Thursday and Friday: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
On-call duty on Saturday and Sunday
Responsibilities:
Provide medical oversight and leadership to clinical staff.
Conduct physical examinations of patients upon admission and readmission.
Review laboratory results and ensure compliance with regulations.
Issue patient medication change orders and supervise nursing staff.
Be available for emergency management of patient care.
Refer patients to primary care providers for non-narcotic medical conditions.
Provide training to clinical staff, including chart reviews and updates on policies.
Participate in Quarterly Board Meetings to discuss strategic plans and quality assurance.
Assist in physician recruitment and participate in interviews.
Qualifications:
BC/BE
Experience in emergency medicine practice.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
1+ years of experience in the field of Substance Abuse required.
