NORTHWESTERN ENERGY Intern HR AI Learning and Development in MISSOULA, Montana
Open to major office locations in Montana (Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Great Falls, Helena and Missoula) & South Dakota
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Education or a related field
- Must have completed Freshman level or higher by stated date
- Be in good academic standing
- Strong interest in Learning and Development, curriculum development, instructional design, training and employee engagement
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in Microsoft office excel, word and access data base
- Ability to work closely with other individuals and cooperate with other departments
- Ability to pass a drug test and a background check
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Assist in the design, development and coordination of AI literacy programs tailored to different roles and skill levels utilizing in person training, workshops and e-learning modules
- Conduct research on AI learning best practices, workforce AI adoption strategies and instructional design methodologies
- Support change management efforts by identifying common barriers to AI adoption and developing strategies to address them
- Assist in crafting messaging to promote AI learning and mitigate concerns about job displacement
- Contribute to internal communications and awareness campaigns to encourage AI upskilling
- Collaborate with team members to assess training needs and recommend solutions that align with organizational goals
- Support the development of learning materials, such as training guides, presentations and resources
- Manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, communication and tracking attendance
- Analyze feedback from training sessions to identify opportunities for improvement and help measure effectiveness
- Assist in mapping AI learning pathways based on role, function and business objectives
- Maintain and organize records in Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other tracking tools
- Explore and test AI learning tools and platforms to enhance training delivery
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Temporary position, will work full-time May - August (40 hours per week).
$20.00 per hour.
