Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $70000 - $90000 / year plus bonus. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits seeks a motivated self-starter to support regional pricing functions for the Coastal-Pacific East Region. The analyst will report to the Manager of Pricing and support the Commercial Finance department with analysis and implementation of pricing/promotional combos for assigned suppliers. This position utilizes multiple pricing and billing systems, collaborating with revenue management, suppliers, commercial operations, and sales leadership to ensure growth while adhering to profit margin targets and legal compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support financial pillars and KPIs/MPP goals through timely activation, communication, and analytics.

  • Entry and maintenance of pricing, promo and supports set up, ensuring accurate and time submission for all supplier products.

  • Create and distribute pricing change communications to the sales team and key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with commercial operations and sales leaders to reduce returned cases and customer credit/price adjustments issues.

  • Monitor pricing structure for efficiencies, ensuring expected gross profit, size indexing, assortment assignment, price simplification and quantity metrics are met.

  • Proactively monitor, research, and resolve issues related to inaccurate inventory costing, price, or support interference with profit goal attainment predictions.

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Utilize SGWS wide array of tools and dashboards to derive insights.Inclusive but not limited to OneSource and internal dashboards such as VPM, Neilson, Aged Inventory, Deal ID, Price Simplification & QNM Analytics.

  • Create new reporting as necessary to fill report gaps in conjunction with necessary local business intelligence, national revenue management or ETP teams to drive automation, consistency, and efficiency in tools/processes.

  • Adhere to all state liquor regulations, local market and national company policies/compliance.

  • Perform special projects and other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or quantitative field

  • 1-3 years of experience preferably in pricing, financial analysis, and data modeling

  • Beverage Alcohol or CPG experience preferred

  • Solution-Based contributor; excellent attention to detail, organization and communication skills

  • Onsite position: Must live within driving distance to our offices in either Miramar-FL or Syosset-NY

  • Ability to Travel up to 10%

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
